Announcements for May 9th, 2008


Class of 2008 group picture will be made at graduation practice on Thursday, May 15 at 10:15 A.M. This picture is a great way to remember your class. Group pictures will be delivered only for students paying on Portrait Day. Packages are available in the main office.

Students- this is a reminder for summer permit forms-if you wish to get your SF1010 form for the summer this friday is the last day to request a form from attendance.

Auditions for the 2008-2009 Masquerade players and Acting 1 class will be after school in the cafeteria May 13th & 14th. Stop by Mr. Davis' office to sign up for your audition time. You must have a prepared monologue.

Students: The library will be closing for inventory next monday, May 12. Please plan to complete all library work by then. Also, all books should be turned in no later than May 12.

Students whose report cards were held last week because of Hold List obligations need to clear those obligations immediately. See Mrs. Smith in the library for information. Teachers: Please notify Mrs SMith if students clear their hold list obligations with you. Otherwise, the student's name does not get cleared.

Seniors-beginning today if you owe money to Halls High School we will only be able to accept cash for school fees, senior fees, hold list, etc.

Juniors-when shceduling senior picture appointments for this summer only schedule with lifetouch studios. If you have questions please see Mrs. Polston.

There is a mandatory meeting for all band students and their parents planning on participating in the Marching Band next year on Tuesday, May13 at 5:45. All students must have their 75$ band camp fee paid and medical form turned in to reserve a spot in next year's show. Band students may turn in their medical form and 75$ fee before the deadline.

The Halls High Band is hosting a solo and a small ensemble performance tonight at 7:00 in the Middle School Auditorium. We would like to invite everyone to attend.

9th-11th graders-if you are interested in running for an SGA/class officer for next year, you need to see Ms. Newgent in room 111 for an application. Applications will be due Monday @3:30 and elections will be held next Friday, May 16 during 3rd block lunch.

Leadership I and II students or SGA members- if you are interested in the D.C. trip for the Jan, 2009 Pr3esidential Inauguration see Ms. Newgent today for the information letter.

Senior National Honor Society Members: please stop by the math workroom on Monday to pick up the NHS collars to wear at graduation. Blue &
